Because of the number of people expected to attend the release, the release site has been moved to "the meadows".  To get to the meadows, turn north onto Sugar Lake Road from Hwy 6.  Turn left onto an unmarked gravel road at 5.4 km.  Stay to the left on this gravel road for 500 m and park at the turn around.

  The Okanagan Indian band is releasing 70000 chinook fry on Thursday morning at 10. The site will be just past the confluence of Schunter Creek and the Shuswap River on Sugar Lake Road. One more step in getting a ladder put in. Cheers Lee
