It might be worth while for all who missed the Knowledge Network
program titled "The next Industrial Revolution" to access
"knowledgenetwork.ca", and see the write up. You can order the DVD, or
VHS for $30. It would be a great teaching tool. Should really go to all
manufacturing and other businesses, as well as libraries, schools, etc.
We can have growth, but sustainable, growth that is non toxic, that is
generally the gist of the program. The scientist, and architect managed
to have a chemical dye company, Nike, and Ford get on board, and work
to develop non-toxic alternatives, as well as design plants/offices
that save energy by incorporating daylight in the building.
It's a very lovely item visually in the architecture that is shown to
result. And it is possible to eliminate the 1600 toxic chemicals from
dyes, and use only the 16 non-toxic ones.
We need to keep pushing!
