Did you know that you are now about 13,000 people who think very  
similarly? All of you who take the time to write to say that you are  
very disappointed in our government and that you would like to see a  
change are not alone.

In this small area (Cherryville, Lumby, Vernon, Salmon Arm) there are  
at least 130 of you who bother writing at least once a week to do  
just that. I really do think that people are far ahead of the  
government when it comes to the environment.

So don't despair. If 130 people write, there must be at least 1300  
who would like to but don't have time, and probably 13,000 who think  
the same. That is about half of the voting population in our area. So  
let's keep on writing, calling and talking. It's the only way change  
will happen. And meanwhile, pat yourself on the back for being part  
of the most important change that has and will happen within the past  
and next century. We are making history, letter by letter,
