[LookOutSugarLake] Petitions sent to MOE

Hello all,

I didn't attach the petitions to this email as the file is almost 1  
mg and many of us are on slow speed but I wanted you to know what was  
sent. here goes:


"Good afternoon Mr. Reiner,

Please find attached a digital copy of the growing petition  
concerning file 90080

The petitions heading reads: "We, the undersigned, hereby petition  
the North Okanagan Regional District to intervene and stop the  
proposed development at Kokanee Lodge until the developer has  
provided residents with the opportunity to review and approve the  
developer's sewage disposal plan." because at the time we started the  
petitions, no one had seen the Environmental Impact Study. All we had  
heard was that there would be discharge to our waterways so we wanted  
to have more details before being more specific.

Now that we have read it and understand what the results would be, I  
can say with confidence that no one would approve the proposed plan  
as people feel that ZERO discharge is the only acceptable number for  
our waterways."
