Hi all,

If you remember, Mike Reiner of MOE, had requested that the  
developer's Qualified Professionals (Summit Environment and Focus)  
provide MOE with answers to the concerns expressed by Interior Health  
and the Ministry of Transport by Feb 28th.

I called today to find out if that had been done and apparently it  
has but Mike Reiner had not looked at the contents yet.... he says he  
will respond to the developer within the next 2 weeks and send a copy  
of what he got from the Qualified Professionals as well as of his  
response to NORD and IH, and hopefully to us.

It is worth while to remember that we now know that pharmaceuticals  
remain in effluents even when cleaned with the best of systems yet  
that this concern will not even be addressed.  So let us keep up the  
calls and letters to MOE. The fact that some of the responses from  
Mike Reiner now copy their public affairs person  -  
Sarah.Harrison at gov.bc.ca - shows we are having an effect. Hopefully  
we'll have enough of an effect to prevent all discharges!
