Dear Officials ~ who are supposed to be in charge of our health, our
environment ~
Please see the following article on the web http://www.cbc.ca/canada/
british-columbia/story/2007/03/05/bc-water.html
How can you indicate to the public you are working on protecting
their water resources, when you are debating the approval of a new
development which will dump sewage into Sugar Lake, BC at the mouth
of the Shuswap River?
You have been informed by several groups and individuals that this is
a water resource for many downstream, salmon spawning grounds and
home to much wildlife, yet you have not taken action to stop the
application to date.
Once again I will remind you that details of this development can be
found at http://www.sensociety.org/SLAMSS.htm
Sincerely,
Cathy Hansen
