[LookOutSugarLake] Opposition to Bill 11

Greetings Gentlemen,

I have read the proposed change to Bill 11 and have serious concerns  
for the consequences of the approval of this bylaw change! One again  
it appears that our leaders are falling into the treadmill of money  
over common sense with the protection and preservation of our  
environment being given the provincial leaders' royal flush!

We the "Sugar Lake And Middle Shuswap Stewards" (SLAMSS) are working  
hard with our local government to affect bylaws that prevent the 100%  
sewage outfalls into our waterways. We have presented our regional  
district with a petition that now contains over 700 names and worry  
that the bill being proposed could defeat any local government's  
efforts to stop an unwanted development.

We say NO to this bill!
