[LookOutSugarLake] Kokanee Lodge Effluent Discharge Conditions

Dear Sir
As a local resident and a member of the local Planning Commission I
condemn your poor judgement in authorizing the discharge of sewage into the
clean waters of Sugar Lake. The applicant does not have the permits needed
to develop the property or even run a campground, because he lied on his
development application. As a community we have tried to keep this issue
local, to be dealt with through the local government process.
Obviously the provincial government holds the financial interests of
one individual paramount, over the interests of local government,
environmental protection, and the public health of this community. I don't
understand why this should be the case. Please explain in your reply.
Obviously this issue needs to be heard in the larger court of public
opinion. I suggest that you reverse this decision before it causes more
conflict, and discredits the applicant's political connections.
                                                                  H Cameron
