[LookOutSugarLake] Next battle to address?

Hi all,

You are probably aware of the factory dairy in Armstrong that will
have, when completed, 2,800 cows?

There is one being built now on Mabel Lake Road not far from the
bridge. These factory farms bring nothing good to an area. Certainly
not jobs, but plenty of traffic, pollution, smells, and sadness for
who can pass by those prisons for animals without feeling pity?

Below is information on the health hazards of such places. Quebec
finally put a moratorium on factory farms, but only after most
streams and rivers of an area got polluted beyond repairs.

I have been told by NORD we can't fight them via the OCP since the
"right to farm act" protects them.

Any interest in doing citizen opposition via petitions? Other ideas?

Huguette.
