Hi all

I'm still at the north end of the riding but just spoke to Russ who just
spoke to Rick Fairbairn.

The number of sites has been reduced but it looks like whatever it is,
it has now been agreed to by NORD.

I find this completely wrong for many reasons:

1. Since when can developments be agreed to without first seeing the
Environmental Impact Study? Cathy and Russ have repeatedly asked for
this and we're told my Mike Reiner that it has not been made public.

2. Remember Interior Health's letter? Their opinion has not been
solicited this time around, you can bet.

3. The bylaws passed last year said all commercial developments would
need to first be presented to the community - does the fact that this
development was agreed to prior to the bylaws make them irrelevant?
let's not forget it was agreed to based on a LIE - that the water and
sewage were already existing. They were not and they are not.

I don't know about you but I really am fed up with these people who
think nothing of trashing a river and a whole environment for their
personal profit. What are your thoughts on this?

Huguette
