FYI
I was speaking to a friend at work. They arrived a Greenbush Lake Friday evening (June 27). She met cattle that had been dropped on the lake side of the cattle guard just before she arrived. The cattle have yellow tags. She had previously passed one of the transport trucks and a pick up on the road. She thinks about 40 head were dropped there.

Hi everyone. If you want to contact someone regarding the cattle being allowed in the Valley Bottom on the Upper Shuswap River the latest contact I have at the Ministry of Forest and Range in Vernon (250 5581600) is a gentleman by the name of Vic Wright. It would perhaps be a good idea to contact him with your opinion of cows being at large on the Upper Shuswap River from 10km up as far as and past Greenbush Lake. Cheers, Gayle Rowan
