Chemical Ban: The federal government announced it will ban the toxic pesticide chlorpyrifos - also known a Lorsban, Warhawk, and Demand.  Rules that allow chemicals to be permitted for "safe" use in Canada are deeply and dangerously flawed, but it will still be 2 years to ensure all uses are stopped.
