  1. Environmental All Candidates Forum, October 3, 7-9 pm, Vernon’s Towne Theatre (2910 30 Ave). Meet the candidates from Vernon- Lumby AND from Kelowna-Lake Country-Coldstream ridings! Watch this free, non-partisan question-answer event, then decide who would best represent us all. Questions answered prior to the forum will be available on the Towne’s foyer wall for the evening or on this website: www.sensociety.org  by October 3. Send your environmental questions to info@sensociety.org  The Towne’s doors and concession will be open by 6:30pm and candidates may also be available for chat prior to the 7 pm event start. National Seniors Day, Oct 1st: Seniors everywhere (90 % globally) want a liveable future and are concerned about climate breakdown and the need for rebuilding a healthy environment for future generations!. They recognize that all our un-natural disasters are due to fossil fuel emissions but that promising solutions – renewables/capping and ending emissions are taking too long. Engage in conversation with a senior near you about vulnerability for all of us. Take action by telling our elected officials, including candidates for election here in B.C., what we ALL need!
