Call to Action

  1. Fossil fuel companies are misleading climate education. A CAPE For the Environment and For Our Kids report found that these companies directly influenced K-12 climate education programs so the next generation will misunderstand the climate crisis. Report summary here. Go here, for action.

  2. Dogwood Newsletter. Environmental news sent via social media by Dogwood has been heavily censored, especially since Trump’s second administration began. Dogwood is a B.C. non-profit dedicated to indigenous rights and environmental activism. Dogwood askes that you sign up for their weekly newsletter here to ensure you’re getting current and accurate environmental news.

  3. Tell Vancouver Council to not allow gas in new buildings. An amendment was made at the last minute to Vancouver building bylaws allowing gas in new builds. Gas burned in buildings is responsible for 60% of Vancouver’s climate pollution. Follow this link
