Two clear paths for the BC NDP: Site C could service one LNG terminal, subsidizing fuel exports to Asia while doing nothing to reduce overall emissions. Tax cuts would come back to bite B.C.: With the BC NDP set to return to government, we can take a closer look at the impacts of the tax cuts they proposed during the campaign. More tax cuts in B.C. would erode the province’s capacity for public investments to tackle some of the big challenges we face: housing, health care, child care, poverty, toxic drugs and the climate crisis, among others. Salmon return to 'daylighted' urban creek in Vancouver: Last fall, Laura Lynch, host of the What On Earth podcast, visited a very special creek in Vancouver. Still Creek was once buried in underground pipes, like many urban streams and rivers across Canada around the world. Good Read: Wild Horses of the Chilcotin by Wayne McCrory -Author comments on horse vocalizations but provided this very interesting aside as well “… elephants have a sophisticated vocal communication system in the infrasonic range at frequencies well below normal human hearing.” Colour photos of wild horses are glorious!
