Kingfisher Interpretive Centre Society— It’s on the Shuswap River and is a volunteer-powered salmon hatchery and educational centre. The hatchery restores the critically endangered salmon population of the Shuswap River. It acts as a “living classroom” by welcoming the community to visit and learn how we can all appreciate and protect nature. Go to their website to adopt a salmon, donate, or plan your next visit!
